ABOUT Doris
I have been practicing Psychiatric Nursing for 40 years and have served as an Advanced Practice Nurse for 25 years! I find fulfillment in working alongside patients and their families, addressing their needs by actively listening and formulating detailed treatment plans.
My practice centers on holistic care, incorporating alternative methods in addition to medications, for children, adolescents, and adults suffering from a range of psychiatric conditions. I have experience treating Attention Deficit Disorder in all age groups and find working with children's development insightful.
I have delivered public speeches for nursing students and adults, as well as workshops for families, teachers, and students on the topics of psychiatric illnesses and medications. My aim is to empower patients through education, enabling a comprehensive treatment approach that supports overall well-being and goal achievement.
